Bipasha Basu (Hindi: बिपाशा बसु, Bengali: বিপাশা বসু ; born 7 January 1979) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi language films. She has also worked in Telugu, Bengali and Tamil language films. She is a former model who had a successful modeling career before venturing into films.

Debuting in a negative role in Ajnabee (2001), her first successful film was Raaz (2002) for which she was nominated for Filmfare Best Actress Award.
